Essaouira is a pearl. A pearl of white mother-of-pearl with blue reflections, fragile and precious, protected from the swirls of the ocean by its shell of ochre ramparts - the same ramparts that outline Astapor, the red city in the ‘Game of Thrones’ series.

Climb the walls and take the walkway: from there, you can see the islands of Mogador and the falcons, seagulls and gulls that hover over this nature reserve. In the distance, surfers, windsurfers and kitesurfers can't get enough of the wind!
